Contact and Product Feedback
A useful PPT Online report explains the task, the step that failed, and the result you expected. Keep private deck content out of a public message.
Describe the Task
Include the page you used, the approximate time, and whether you were editing, exporting, or processing a file. State the browser and device when they affect the issue.
Make a Problem Reproducible
List the steps in order and describe what actually happened. A redacted screenshot or a small non-sensitive example is more useful than an unfiltered confidential deck.
Protect Your Editing Access
Do not include a resume token, private editing link, password, or account code in public feedback. Use a view-only link only when you intend the recipient to access that presentation.
How it works
- 01
Write a short summary
Name the task and the step that did not work as expected.
- 02
Add reproducible steps
Include browser, device, expected result, and actual result.
- 03
Remove private information
Check the message and attachments for private content and editing tokens before sending feedback.
Good questions.
Straight answers.
Should I send my original presentation?+
Start with the smallest non-sensitive example that shows the issue. Remove personal information and confidential content before sharing any file.
What information helps with an export problem?+
Include the source and output formats, the affected slide or object, the export notes, and the application used to open the result.
What if my temporary download expired?+
Temporary file-tool results follow the retention policy. Keep downloaded copies locally; an expired result should not be assumed recoverable.
