How to Convert PPT to Google Slides
Prepare the compatible PPTX here, then open Google Slides and use its file-import workflow. A download does not mean a presentation has already been created inside your Google account.
Why Convert PPT to Google Slides?
A Google Slides workflow can be useful when the people reviewing your presentation already work in Google Workspace. Check the imported deck before inviting others to use it.
What to Check After Import
Compare page count, text, images, charts, and layout. A font may be substituted and an animation may become static. Check any export notes and make sure the important content remains editable.

Good questions.
Straight answers.
Can I use the result in Google Slides?+
The default Google Slides workflow provides a compatible PPTX file. Import that file into Google Slides, then check the text, charts, fonts, and layout. A downloaded file is not automatically saved to a Google account.
Do I need to connect my Google account here?+
Not for the default compatible-file workflow. You download a PPTX and import it yourself. An optional direct-save integration would require a separate Google authorization step.
Should I check the result before sharing it?+
Yes. Open the exported file in the application your audience uses. Check all pages, fonts, charts, and media, especially when the original contains complex formatting or unsupported objects.
